Tom Brady breaks silence: Tom Brady Deflategate, Famed NFL player Tom Brady shared some thoughts about the ‘Deflategate’ scandal and the upcoming football season on Facebook.

His wife wife Victoria’s Secret model Gisele Bundchen, 35, took to Instagram hours later with a father-daughter photo showing Brady playing soccer outdoors with their two-year-old Vivian Lake to show that all was well in the Brady household after divorce rumors had swirled.

The New England Patriots quarterback broke his silence by speaking out about the scandal and the impact that it had on him, fans and the game he loves to play.

Earlier this week, his four game suspension was overturned, allowing him to play with the Patriots when they have their season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10.

On his Facebook page, Brady wrote that he can’t wait to fully commit his ‘energy and emotion to focus on the challenges’ of the season.

The 38-year-old athlete thanked his family, friends, fans and teammates for their support ‘throughout this challenging experience’.

‘While I am pleased to be eligible to play, I am sorry our league had to endure this,’ the four-time Super Bowl champion wrote.

‘I don’t think it has been good for our sport – to a large degree, we have all lost.

‘I am also sorry to anyone whose feelings I may have hurt as I have tried to work to resolve this situation.

‘I love the NFL. It is a privilege to be a member of the NFL community and I will always try to do my best in representing my team and the league in a way that would make all members of this community proud.’

Brady added that he looks forward to the competition on the playing field this season and that he hopes the attention of NFL fans ‘can return to where it belongs – on the many great players and coaches who work so hard every week, and sacrifice so much, to make this game great’.

The California native said that he looks forward to representing the Patriots on Thursday night.

‘I hope to make all of our fans proud this year and beyond!’ Brady concluded.

The father-of-three was accused of tampering with footballs used in the Super Bowl in January.

He has said in the past that he played no role in an alleged conspiracy to deflate footballs.

The Facebook post on Friday was followed up today with an endearing snap posted by Brady’s wife Gisele to Instagram.

In it the 38-year-old famed NFL player was dressed in sporty attire, rocking bright orange sneakers while looking down at his blonde haired little one.

His daughter seemed to be having a blast, focusing on kicking the ball towards the goal passed her four-time Superbowl champion dad.

Gisele captioned the blissful moment with a supportive tag: ‘and my heart melts …#biggestlove #family, e meu coração se derrete #amormaior #família.’

On Thursday, a make-up free Gisele was spotted showing support to Brady by visiting the Sports Therapy Center at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

The cover girl, reportedly worth almost $400million, showed off her yoga-toned legs in very short Daisy Duke denim shorts, black flip flops and a grey V-neck shirt.

The Pantene model put her locks in a messy top knot and she had no makeup on. It looked as if she had just rolled out of bed. In her arms was a large blue glass water bottle and a white cell phone.

It looked like the former Victoria’s Secret model was still wearing her gold wedding band.

According to Us Weekly, the Vogue favorite recently consulted a divorce lawyer, but Tom is allegedly not taking her actions too seriously.

‘Tom thinks it’s only a threat,’ a source claimed to the magazine. ‘But this is definitely a rough patch.’ The insider added: ‘Things are very tense right now. This could be the end of them.’
