Samsung Galaxy Note, About a month ago we heard something interesting β that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet was delayed in order to replace its dual-core processor with a quad-core unit (like the one found in the recently announced Galaxy S III smartphone).
The Galaxy Note 10.1 was first shown during MWC in February, but a couple of weeks or so ago Samsung told us that the final product may end up being quite different from what was showcased back then. Which, of course, may have been a kind of confirmation that the hardware specs are subject to change.
And change they will, it seems. The quad-core Galaxy Note 10.1 theory has received even more credence today thanks to a leaked benchmark result.
As you can see in the image above, someone tested a Galaxy Note 10.1 using NenaMark, and the 58.8 fps achieved is great. However, itβs also a lot better than the 44 fps that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 with its dual-core 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos processor was able to churn out, and it also bests the original Galaxy Note phone / tablet hybrid, which scored 48 fps.
