Punjab Government Releases Rs 2 Billion For Flood Relief, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed the authorities to shift boats and de-watering pumps to flood affected areas where they are now most needed.
He issued the directives during his visit to the flood affected areas in Multan and Muzaffargarh. The Chief Minister said this is for the first time that the provincial government has released two billion rupees, hundred million rupees to each district for relief and rehabilitation activities. The Chief Minister visited relief camps and did an aerial inspection of the flood affected areas.
