‘Newsroom’ star ties the knot: Newsroom Stars Marry, It was a sunshine filled day inside and out as Alison Pill wed Joshua Leonard in an intimate ceremony just four months after becoming engaged.
The star of HBO’s The Newsroom wore a vintage yellow dress for the low-key wedding held this weekend and shared a photo on Instagram of her and Joshua with the caption ‘We’re married!!!!!!!!!!!!!’
Alison, 29, and Joshua, 39, both shared pictures of their special day on social media including a short black and white video of their first dance as husband and wife.
Joshua also shared several photos from the weekend nuptials describing the wedding day as ‘hands down best day of my life.’
The couple got their marriage license at the Beverly Hills courthouse five days ago and their wedding weekend was shared with just their closest family and friends.
A special guest was the couple’s dog Henry who wore a bow tie for the occasion.
Alison, who’s originally from Toronto, Canada, wore an anle length vintage sunshine yellow dress that had a ribbed bodice and a full skirt.
The summery color was almost a perfect match to her light blonde hair that she wore in pretty curls.
She added a dash of bold color with some ruby red lipstick and highlighted her eyes with some charcoal grey shadow.
Her husband, who’s from Houston, Texas, wore a dark suit with a matching tie and white shirt.
Joshua got his acting break as one of the stars of The Blair Witch Project in 1999.
