Microsoft Windows 8 Release Official Logo, Microsoft presented in a post on the official blog the logo of the new operating system Windows 8. Team members who worked on developing the new platform have decided that the new logo to represent an accurate description of the new “Live Titles” icons.
If in the past most Windows logos were confused with flags, Microsoft decided that this time should not be any doubt about the meaning of the logo. Thus, the American company hired Pentagram agency responsible for creating logos for Penguin publishing house, Princeton University or Citi Group to develop a logo that would represent exactly “Live Titles” icons of the new Metro interface.
The new logo looks just like a window with four icons from the Metro interface, a basic feature of the new operating system Windows 8.
