Kenyan lawyer offers dowry to marry Malia Obama: Malia Obama Marriage Proposal, A Kenyan Lawyer is offering United States President Barack Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats to marry his daughter Malia Obama, Yahoo! News reports according to AFP.
Felix Kiprono told the Nairobian newspaper that he had his eye on the 16-year-old ever since the president was running for officer for the first time in 2008.
“As a matter of fact, I haven’t dated anyone since and promise to be faithful to her. I have shared this with my family and they are willing to help me raise the bride price,” Kiprono said.
The Kenyan lawyer hopes Obama will bring Malia to Kenya when he makes his presidential visit in July and take him up on his offer.
Obama’s father was born in Kenya, and his grandmother still lives in the East African country.
“I am currently drafting a letter to Obama asking him to please have Malia accompany him for this trip. I hope the embassy will pass the letter to him,” Kiprono said.
The young lawyer promised to take good care of Malia and insisted that he is not after the first family for their money.
“My love is real,” he told the newspaper.
“I will teach Malia how to milk a cow, cook ugali (maize porridge) and prepare mursik like any other Kalenjin woman,” he said, talking of the “simple life” he plans to have with the first daughter.
