Janet Jackson is getting younger: Janet Jackson Unbreakable, There’s plenty of anticipation in the air for Janet Jackson’s previously teased, but not fully detailed new album. We now know the title of the LP, and it might be familiar to anyone that picked up a ticket to the pop star’s upcoming tour. Like that trip, the record has now officially been titled Unbreakable.
Jackson revealed the info today (August 20) in a tweet that features the caption, “From my lips.” It includes a picture of a lyric sheet for a new track titled “The Great Forever.” As you’ll note down below, there’s a line at the top of the page noting that the song is from the album, Unbreakable.

Another thing to note of the sheet, which lays on a recording studio’s mixing board, is that it lists J. Harris III and T. Lewis, otherwise known as Jackson’s longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, as co-writers. It’s as yet unclear how involved the producers are with the rest of the LP. Lewis and Jam have been working with Jackson since 1986’s breakthrough LP, Control.
A quick snippet of the track, whose lyrics seem to reflect a search for truth, was also revealed. You can stream a quick snippet from the chorus over here.
While “The Great Forever” has yet to be revealed in full, it’s the second single Jackson has teased from her upcoming album. Earlier this summer, she unveiled two versions of a track called “No Sleeep”, one being a remix featuring rapper J. Cole.
