Hot, Dry Weather Expected

Hot, Dry Weather Expected, Hot and dry weather is expected in the provincial metropolis on Friday (today) as the monsoon seems to have entered its last leg and the moisture and humidity in the environment is decreasing.

The maximum temperature in the city on Thursday was 38 degree Celsius while the minimum was 27.

The maximum temperature in the country was 43.5 degrees at Dalbandin. In the next 24 hours, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country.

Punjab College students bag first positions in BSc results 2014. In recently announced BSc results 2014 by Punjab University and Bahauddin Zakariya University, brilliant students of Punjab College, Saba Khalid and Momina Ishaq bagged first positions securing 700 marks and 692 marks respectively.

Samia Muneer and Quanita Qasim of Punjab College too got third positions in the examination of Punjab University and Bahauddin Zakariya University. The students attributed their outstanding successes to god’s blessings, parents’ prayers, untiring efforts of their teachers and their own hard work.
