‘Home Alone’ again: ‘Home Alone’ Macaulay Culkin

‘Home Alone’ again: ‘Home Alone’ Macaulay Culkin, Macaulay Culkin was the biggest child star since Shirley Temple when Home Alone arrived in theaters 25 years ago. Now, he is revisiting the character that made him a household name in a new web series.
The creator of the series, DRYVRS, Jack Dishel, spoke to INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret and says he and his star have been friends for five years.
“It was made in fun and I think he felt that it would be fun,” Dishel said. “It is a mighty contrast from what he is known for but that’s acting.”
He added: “It is kind of like setting up a giant target of your former self and what everyone knows.”
Culkin appears as Kevin McCallister and is all grown up in first episode of DRYVRS.
Culkin’s hair is long and greasy. He’s thin, even gaunt and appears nothing like the cute kid who stole audiences’ hearts.
In the episode, he is smoking cigarettes and recounting how he fended off two psychopath home invaders when his parents left him to go on Christmas vacation.
‘If that if that happened to an actual child, I think the psychological consequences would be pretty severe,” Dishel told INSIDE EDITION.
On the web series, a crazed gunman tries to hijack Culkin’s car. Just like in the Home Alone movie, he has to show ingenuity to save the day.
Moret asked: “Do you think anybody will be surprised by Macaulay Culkin’s appearance?”
“I don’t know anyone who looks like they did when they were eight,” Dishel said.
