Grohl takes a throne: Grohl Performs Throne

Grohl takes a throne: Grohl Performs Throne, The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl made headlines last month when he broke his right leg during a concert in Sweden.
But if you think that stopped him from performing in Washington, D.C., on Independence Day, you thought wrong.
Instead, Grohl designed a special throne so he could prop his injured leg up while he rocked out at the Foo Fighters 20th Anniversary Blowout.
It was the band’s first concert since the accident, which forced them to cancel their European tour.
“Nothing is impossible in the Foo Fighters’ world,” Grohl told the crowd.
It seems Foo Fighters fans agreed:
The more I think about it, the more impressed I am with Dave Grohl and his rock throne. That was pretty effing metal.

Dave Grohl is performing this entire show seated on a throne because of his broken leg, and also because I already worship him.

Dave Grohl is on a Foo Fighters throne with a neon purple cast on his leg in the middle of the crowd. I can’t.
