Girl smarter than Einstein?: 12-Year-Old Girl Einstein, test is a 140, and Einstein and Stephen Hawking both scored a 160. 12-year-old Nicole Barre from England recently scored a 162, putting her in the top one percent of the population.
A spokesperson for Mensa told the Western Daily Press that because scores are weighted for children, the highest possible score for adults is 161, and said, “While a score of 162 isn’t exactly unknown, it is still quite rare.” An average adult score is 100. Nicole’s dad, Jim, took the test at the same time as Nicole, and she also scored significantly higher than he did.

Nicole, who also loves theater and is excited about her upcoming performance in a Shakespeare play, told The Mirror, “When I found out I got such a high score, it was so unexpected. I was shocked.”
