Four Killed, Four Injured In Separate Incidents Of Violence, At least four people were killed while four others injured in separate incidents of violence at different parts of city here on Thursday. According to police and rescue sources, Nadir Shah, 40, son of Muzafar Shah, was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Korangi, in the jurisdiction of Zaman Town police station.
Police said that the initial investigations have suggested that Nadir might have been killed over personal enmity. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy. In another incident, Abdul Qayoom, 23, son of Akram Khan, was killed while Haji Adam, 25, son of Mohammad Younus, was injured in firing incident which occurred near Memon Society, Kharadar Market. The victims were moved to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.
In another case, man aged about 40, was gunned down by unknown assailants near Boat Basin. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy. The identity of deceased was yet to be ascertained till filing of this report. Meanwhile, police claimed to have killed an alleged dacoit near Khyaban-e-Sahil Block-1 Clifton. One pistol with 3 rounds and a motorcycle (KBF-1207) was recovered. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
One Abdullah, 20, son of Nazeer Khan, was injured by unknown persons near Nazimabad No-2. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment. In another incident, Asif, a resident of Mehmoodabad, was injured while offering resistance during a robbery incident in Mehmoodabad, Parsi Gate He was moved to JPMC for treatment.
