Ex-WWE wrestler busted: Nicole Bass, Former WWE superstar Nicole Bass was arrested on Tuesday night in New York after allegedly shoplifting more than $1,200 in goods from a supermarket.
The 50-year-old was taken into custody at the Stop & Shop store in Glendale – a suburb in east Queens, near Woodhaven – about 8pm.
She allegedly put the items – over 160 in total – in her bag and the shopping car and walked out without paying.
According to The New York Post, employees caught Bass and called police.
The total haul was $1,236 worth of food and $159 worth of beauty products, police told the newspaper.
She was charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property.
Bass appeared in court on Wednesday morning.
In a plea deal with prosecutors, she was given a six-month good behavior bond.
In return, so long as Bass stays out of trouble, the case will be dismissed and not recorded.
She also has to attend a one-day counseling session focused on shoplifting.
The Post reported that she put 152 food items and 17 health and beauty products.
Bass was a successful bodybuilder and wrestler in the late ’80s and throughout the ’90s known for her ‘bear hug’ move.
She has also appeared in a handful of low-budget films.
Bass lost her husband, Richard ‘Bob’ Fuchs, in 2013.
Fuchs died in his sleep.
