Eric Mcclure Condition, Eric McClure was involved in a large wreck at the Aaron’s 312 race on May 5. The driver was immediately taken to a local hospital from the Talladega Superspeedway. Although details on his condition have been limited, his team has kept fans informed while other drivers have sent their support and tried to contribute information.
Eric McClure’s Wreck at Talladega
During the Aaron’s 312 race at Talladega, Eric McClure was in a wreck that involved multiple cars and hit the SAFER barrier. McClure’s team posted an immediate update on Twitter, “Involved. Hard hit.” The same Twitter account later updated fans with a statement that indicated Eric McClure was awake and able to talk to his family. However, he is being kept at the hospital for observation.
Eric McClure’s Current Condition
The extent of Eric McClure’s injuries is still not known. Some fans have suggested that he may have suffered a head injury during the crash, but his Hefty Reynolds Wrap Racing team has not confirmed or denied this. The only information that has been shared is that McClure is alert and able to talk.
