Elizabeth Olsen House

Elizabeth Olsen House, Don Draper may be making his big comeback later this month, but his wardrobe never left. These days, a well-tailored suit and trendy skinny tie can be just as easily rocked by a daring gal as a dapper guy—and this week, two of our favorite ladies stepped out in the sort of two-piece that’s meant for business, not the beach. Whose ladylike twist on classic menswear is a fashion-forward winner? And whose attempt to suit herself didn’t quite pan out? Keep reading!
Elizabeth Olsen has caught our attention before for her effortless, understated glamour on the red carpet—but this week, it was her bold choice of outfit for a “Today” show appearance that won Style Superstar honors. Her straight-from-the-catwalk velvet pantsuit by The Row, paired with snakeskin pumps and a big leather bag, reminds us of Diane Keaton’s iconic style from “Annie Hall”—except dressed-up, less rumpled and meant for doing some serious business. We assume she left the studio and fired, like, 20 people, then closed a billion-dollar deal over a two-martini lunch at The Palm. In the best possible way.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth wasn’t the only suited starlet to show off a jacket-and-trousers combo this week, but Jennifer Morrison’s more classic menswear look didn’t quite reach superstar heights. She started off strong with sleek hair, bold lips and a crisp white shirt under her slim jacket and skinny tie, but the too-long pants and clunky platform heels are bad for business. We’d like to see the following improvements before her next employee review: a classic stiletto, a slightly cropped trouser and a waistline that doesn’t give her a peculiar pouch. Okay? Meeting adjourned!
