Drunk Grandparents Suv Girl, Grandparents, who admit they had been drinking, were arrested for child endangerment after allegedly towing their 7-year-old granddaughter in a plastic toy car behind their SUV.
According to the report in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Paul J. Berloni, 49, faces DUI, child endangerment and driving with a suspended license charges in connection to the incident on Sunday afternoon.
His wife, Belinda Jean Berloni, 47, also faces a child endangerment charge.
A Sarasota County SheriffÂ’s deputy says he spotted the couple pulling a plastic Hot Wheels car with a girl inside wearing only a swimsuit.
The toy car was attached to the truck’s trailer hitch with two dog leashes.
A deputy estimated the SUV was traveling between 5 and 10 mph.
