Dad’s hilarious mistake: Joseph Griffin Gopro Selfie, An Irishman enjoying a dream trip to Las Vegas has become a viral star after unwittingly recording his whole trip in selfie mode.
Joseph Griffin borrowed his son’s GoPro camera to capture the exciting trip on camera but clearly should have asked him how to use or at least brought the instructions along.
More than 1.4 million people have watched the ‘Irishman in Las Vegas’ clip after his son Evan uploaded the highlights of the trip to YouTube.
“Gave my dad my GoPro while he was in Las Vegas, I did not, however, instruct him on how to use it, so my dad being my dad … didn’t know which way to point the f——g thing,” he wrote.
Instead of capturing the famous Las Vegas strip, he mostly managed to capture close-ups of his own face while pointing the camera the wrong way.
“There’s the Trump Tower, same colour as his hair,” he jokes in the clip.
The video has attracted hundreds of comments, with one saying: “This is gold, such a dad thing to do.”
Another added: “This is way more golden than having videos of Vegas. Wish you got his reaction to seeing all the footage he took.”
