Comic-Con appearance: Harrison Ford Comic-Con, Harrison Ford appeared at Comic-Con in 2010 to support Cowboys & Aliens (and then in 2013 for Ender’s Game), but the actor returned to Hall H on Friday night to cheers reserved for the best pilot in the galaxy (far, far away). The 72-year-old made his first public appearance since sustaining injuries in a plane crash earlier this year as part of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel at Comic-Con.
“I’m fine,” Ford said, as he took the stage alongside fellow original trilogy co-stars Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. “My foot? I just walked here,” Ford added.
In March, Ford was flying a vintage World War II plane when he had engine trouble on takeoff. “He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely,” his representative said at the time of the crash. “He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”
