Coco on her tiny bump: Coco Austin Ice T, Coco Austin showed off her usual style when attending The Paley Center for Media’s Hollywood Tribute to African-American Achievements in Television event last night alongside hubby Ice-T. The pregnant star flaunted her figure in a low-cut black dress which accentuated her growing baby bump, while the Law & Order: SVU star matched in an all-black outfit.
The Hollywood couple were joined by Terrence Howard, Regina King, Tyra Banks, Alfred Enoch, 50 Cent, Rick Fox, Brandy Norwood and more stars, who gathered at the Beverly Wilshire hotel Monday night to recognize the African-Americans who have made a significant contribution to television.
Quincy Jones was honored at the event for his musical contributions to TV spanning the discographies of Michael Jackson, Little Richard and Ella Fitzgerald, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Also honored were Diahann Carroll, who was the first African American actress to star in her own TV series with 1968’s Julia as something other than a maid, and Black Entertainment Television (BET) on its 35th anniversary.
“We’ve come a long way and have a long way to go,” Jones told the audience. “And we will go.”
