Casey Anthony Back In Florida, Casey Anthony, whose fate has been unknown since received death threats after being acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, returned to Florida, her lead attorney said. She also had contact with her parents.

If the appeals fail, Anthony is scheduled to report Friday to begin serving a year’s probation for a previous conviction for check fraud.

On Geraldo at Large, which aired Sunday night on Fox News, Geraldo Rivera lawyer Jose Baez said Anthony was with “close friends” of the defense team, but he would not reveal where. He said they “are not spiritual advisors” and “people who care and are trying to help her regain her life.” Some therapists.

Baez also said that Anthony has recently had “limited contact with her parents,” but she has not spoken to her brother, Lee.

In documents filed today in Florida, the Attorney General said an appeals court that Anthony could not have served probation when she was in jail pending trial for the death of her daughter and her still faces a year of state supervision for a previous check-fraud conviction from Friday, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

“The court probation originally imposed to be served after her release from incarceration,” the attorney general’s office said in its response to a call for the defense. “Legally, it is clear that the defendant can not not serve probation while incarcerated. ”

Anthony lawyers want appellate judges to reverse the order of Chief Judge Belvin Perry asking him to report to probation as check-fraud cases. They have until Tuesday afternoon to answer.
