Carrie Underwood’s weight loss: Carrie Underwood Baby Weight Loss, Carrie Underwood is looking really good these days, a challenging task for the mother of a four-month-old son. The country star recently showed off her post-baby body for a photo shoot for her new fitness line Calia, and her longtime trainer, Erin Oprea, shared the secrets to her slimmed down frame.
“Sometimes we’ll go for a run with lots of hills, stop at a park to do some pull ups, push ups, step ups and other fun body weight stuff,” Oprea told People.
Meanwhile, the trainor makes sure to “keep it fun and keep shocking the body. No two workouts seem to end up the same.”
Underwood trains with Oprea three times a week and is a “super motivated person with big goals.” The singer “tries to be active every day.”
The singer told the magazine on the set of her photo shoot, “Having a baby definitely changes your routine, and I have to work around his schedule. Whenever he goes to sleep, I do the things I need to do for myself and make workouts happen when they can.”
Oprea added, “To be able to continue your regimen right after your pregnancy, you had to try your hardest to keep up with your workouts during your pregnancy. Maintaining your fitness levels during will allow you to kick start your post much more quickly.”
So what about new moms without personal trainers? What can they do? Oprea recommends “cutting out the junk food.” She advises: “Focusing on nutrition first will really get your body ready for you and your baby. Once back in the gym, start slowly.”
