Bob Morris Girl Scouts Radicalized Organization, 2012 is the “Year of the Girl” and the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana/ Michiana gathered to celebrate the organization’s 100th anniversary and its work to support girls.
Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry proclaimed Monday as “Girl Scouts of Michiana Day”.
State Representative Win Moses also came to show his support and had some words in response to fellow representative Bob Morris’ recent criticism of the Girl Scouts.
Moses said, “I think the way to put the arguments of Representative Morris to bed is for people to buy more Girl Scout cookies. Let’s just make it the best year we’ve ever had in Girl Scouts.”
After calling the Girl Scouts “a radicalized organization” that promotes a “homosexual lifestyle”. Morris issued a statement saying that he shouldn’t have painted the entire organization with “such a wide brush.”
Girl Scout leaders say it’s time to move forward and focus on celebrating the group’s accomplishments.
