Angry Birds Is Now Worth Billions

Angry Birds Is Now Worth Billions, The very popular game, in which pigs green one-on-one with the birds angry, turned the little-known Finnish developer, Rovio, a giant multi-billionaire.

Famous angry birds have been downloaded over 300 million times since the start of the game in 2009.

Now, the Chief Marketing Officer Peter Vesterbacka has attached a price tag of several billion dollars to the head of feathers. An evaluation by Forbes as Rovio price up to £ 600 million was too low, he said.

The company was instead of billions, he says, noting the value of £ 15.1billion Facebook Zynga Games Company.

“We do not sell well – unless someone offers enough,” said Vesterbacka Finnish financial magazine Kauppalehti Optio.

Rovio said earlier this year, it is an IPO in New York in three years.

Angry Birds was originally released for the iPhone, but versions for PCs, Nokia and Android have been added since. Fans include David Cameron and Justin Bieber.

Players fire a variety of birds in anger against the green pigs that have stolen their eggs.
Birds and their rivals Piggy were also transformed into a range of toys, fridge magnets and a range of clothing.

Sky-high valuations of Internet companies have become apparent in recent times, with discussions of a repetition of the Internet bubble burst in 2000.
