Actress dies at 44: Jennifer Rae Beck, Jennifer Rae Beck has passed away. The 44-year-old actress died on August 8, according to Variety. She had been battling breast cancer for a long time, and sadly, she couldn’t fight any longer.

Beck played roles in many on stage performances, including Eponine for the national tour of “Les Miserables” as well as the national tour of “Evita.” She was also a part of the revival of “Fiddler on the Roof” on Broadway, according to Broadway World. As for her television career, she co-starred as June along side Bette Midler in the 1993 TV movie adaption of “Gypsy” and she even appeared several times on many shows like “Law & Order,” “One Life to Live,” and “Conviction.”

She also owned a vintage store, Chalk Farm Home, in New Jersey which has moved on to become an online business as well as an Etsy store.
“I’m a self professed Francophile, writer, stylist and photographer,” the website reads. “Since an early age, I have loved all things vintage. You can often find me at a local flea market, estate sale or antique shop searching for the perfect treasure. Follow my travels and adventures in my blog and please visit my shop to take a peek at the special things I have found a long the way.”

Beck is survived by her husband Ian Own-Ward and their three children.
